  23.    Chris Johnson wrote this program which blocks modification of files in certain ways, thereby preventing viruses from infecting your computer.
  24.    It is easily configurable to permit certain programs to perform modifications.  However other than a short list provided, the user must discover these programs by trial and error.  The latest version has a notification only mode which facilitates this process.
